Husband help deliver/catch???

Question

Have any of you had your husband or significant other help deliver or catch baby when giving birth?

We will have a hospital birth but after researching, we really would like to do it if our Doctor allows!

I would love to hear any experiences!!! :)

My husband and I agreed he would stay above my waist lol. It's still just as beautiful from that angle without him never being able to look at my vagina the same again lol. He did cut the ambilical cord though :)

This is really important to my husband, he's totally in awe by birth. I feel very lucky and excited to be able to share such a cool Ana's emotional experience with him!

My husband was supposed to deliver our last child and had everything arranged with the Doctor (who agreed because my husband is a paramedic and does it driving down the road). However, we ended up with complications so he didn't get to deliver. I say go for it! Once in a lifetime experience for most people 😀
