I took my 3 month old in for a half day of daycare as a trial run for returning to work next week. Well, drop off was fine. Pick up? Not so much. We take her to a daycare facility that goes through pre-k. There are 7 babies in her room with 2 teachers. When I went in to pick her up one teacher was standing over her as she laid on the ground crying and screaming. It REALLY infuriated me. The teacher told me she was trying to feed her...? Um. She's 3 months old. She can't hold her own bottle and she was laying on the ground? How was she being fed? It really REALLY pissed me off. We pay $220 a week for daycare. Am I overreacting? Is this like a first day need transition phase kind of thing? I didn't say anything when I was there because I was so pissed off I knew I would lose it on them. I don't want to freak out on the people who watch my child for me, because I'm worried she won't get good care if I chewed them out. I'm supposed to take her back tomorrow for another half day, because I'm supposed to start work on Monday. Someone please help calm my mind!!!
