Are there any fathers to be that want a girl and not a boy?
Just out of curiosity, I have never heard a father to be say he hopes for a little girl when asked "do you want a boy or girl". I understand the whole pass the last name down to keep it going, but girls can keep their maiden names after getting married to. In fact, I have a friend who's husband took her last name. So, is it just a masculine need to prefer a boy over girl? Please take no offense, just wanting to understand the fathers perspective. I fear my husband will be disappointed if we are having a girl.
