It's not a problem unless he makes it a problem. If he's seriously ignoring you , that's an issue. If he stays up all night playing and then sleeps until 2 that's a problem. This is coming from a gamer 👀👀

My fiancé does the same thing and I believe it's a problem he stays in the bed room playing xbox all day!! I feel so alone he don't even talk to me bc he's on his head set taking to other players... He works comes home and plays till he goes back to work he is almost 29!! I feel like I'm his maid and only here to wait on him do his laundry cook him dinner and whatever else he wants

My boyfriend wouldn't give up gaming for the world, but if I didn't let him do it we would probably get bored of each other as we'd have too much time together! He still gives me plenty of love and attention, but doing your own things is also important and healthy in a relationship :-)

I don't mind that my boyfriend plays. But my ex would play them so much just to ignore me. And he would play them right up till he wanted to go to bed and when I'd want to have sex he'd say it was too late. It was always a fight. Also I have two friends who's boyfriends are super into gaming and act like their girlfriends don't exist most of the time because they're so into their games. Everything is fine in moderation. If you can't put it down to spend time with someone you love then it becomes a problem. But if he's just playing for a little while everyday for his enjoyment I wouldn't get upset over it.

This was a huge thing for my boyfriend and I. We worked out that he needs his time to do his own hobbies and I need mine. Now he only plays after I go to bed or when I'm at work (we work different shifts) we make sure we have at least 3
Days a week where he's not ignoring me to play. It works out pretty good he still gets to play almost every day just not when I'm home or awake.

My husband plays games every day... And here's a shocker, so do I! Some people like to read, some people watch tv, some people go to the gym, we like to play games. It's a hobby, a slight addiction... But it's not bad!

I'll never understand women getting mad at their spouse at or video games. (Aside from if he's got a serious problem and it's effecting his every day life such as not showering or not doing ANYTHING else. That type of thing) 
My partner made it VERY clear before we started dating that games are an important part of his life. They're what held him together through a lot of rough times. He used to be a proffesional gamer as well so he gets reeeeally into them. I was told before we started dating that if I have an issue with it we shouldn't date bc he's not changing that part of his life and I would never expect him to. The only times I get upset or annoyed are when he gets waaaay too frustrated or mad and starts throwing controllers. Which only happens like once in a blue moon (been together over two years. He's only gotten frustrated enough to throw a controller like once or twice in that time period)

I think it's fine as long as you both are still spending gone together, house work is done, bills are paid etc. Long as it's not impacting these things then its fine 🙂
