Ultrasound?

Ok so I finally had my first appt today to confirm the pregnancy.  Gave me info and told me what I needed to do for the blood draw and set me back up with an appointment for February 18th where I get to hear the heartbeat.  At that point I'll be 11 weeks, I said when do I get my ultrasound and she said not until 19 weeks??? Why would I have to wait that long?  I want to see my baby :(
