So my practice apparently doesn't like patients to exceed 41 weeks. An induction was going to be scheduled on Wednesday, my 41 week mark however at the last minute the latest they can get me in without exceeding 41 weeks is Sunday, at 40+4. I know babies can safely be delivered past this mark but my doctor is really pushing it, plus its already scheduled and on top of that i am feeling immense pressure from my inlaws. The grandfather is a trucker and won't see my baby for six weeks if he isn't born by Monday, and he's constantly blaming me for his loss of income for the week he's been home. Telling me I'm the reason his truck will be repossessed because i can't "pop him out" on time, constantly poking my stomach and blowing the semi horn to "scare him out". Ugh.

I guess what I'm really feeling like is a bad mother already for agreeing to force him out before he is completely ready. I'm also nervous about the entire process and the increased c section risk if i take too long for the medical staff's liking, or my body just not cooperating and shutting down....

If anybody has been medically induced for nonmedical reasons I'd really love to hear the outcome!
