Preeclampsia ?

Has anyone had any experience with this? My doctor has been monitoring me closely because of some levels I have that make me more likely to have it. No protein in the urine yet but my blood pressure is getting high & I have super bad swelling.

I had it with my second. Pretty much exactly the way ur talking about. It was kinda rough. The swelling would hurt and I'd get so hot. :( they ended up inducing me as soon as I hate 37 weeks

I was induced with my first at 38 weeks for high blood pressure..not quite preclamsia but close.

My doctor hasn't mentioned it but he does mention my high blood pressure and swelling at every appointment.  He says I need to rest more. As long as I'm resting my blood pressure goes down.

Had it w my first. It was horrible!! My dr was a quack too. She kept telling me I was "normal" and everything was "fine". It was far from it. Don't just trust them bc they're Dr.s..... If u feel something is really wrong at some point, trust ur body. Better safe than Srry!

Just got diagnosed 2 weeks ago! I'm 31 weeks +3 days Been on bedrest and they will be inducing me if I make it to 37 weeks. My blood pressure started getting really high I had swelling in hands feet and face and had bad headache for weeks with help from any meds. They just gave me the two steriod shots so if I go before 37 she has had them. They refused to listen to me early on and thought my blood pressure was fine but it was running 140/90,150/95, then spiked to 150/100. They did do labs and 2 24 hour urines but since my levels were over 300 they weren't worried. But I was worried because within 2 weeks my protein went from 224 to 290. I ended up in the hospitals because my blood pressure was out of whack and my protein turned out to be 320 which was 5 days after my 2nd 24 hour urine So now I'm on a blood pressure med and on bed rest I am being seen by my reg ob once a week and my high risk doctor once a
Week with grow scans each time and NST. Tests. Luckily she is big for 31 weeks she is 4.2 pounds which was actually my ultrasound at 29+6 days. She was about the same for my ultrasound this week. Doctor daid she is practicing breathing per the scan and she is in the 95 percentile. Bigger the baby the better. The problem with pre eclampsia is the only cure is delivery of the baby and placenta. And it can turn a corner quick! Report every symptom you are having even if you think it's minimal! Good luck and sorry so long of a post haha

I was induced at 36wks for pre eclampsia. My blood pressure kept going higher and higher and I was "spilling protien". I was gaining 10lbs a week all in water weight. My feet were literally deformed they were so swollen. And I was also going 2times a week for non stress tests to moniter the baby. I was put on bed rest but that didn't make a change at all. So he ended up breaking my water. My advice would be to take it easy as much as possible. Keep your feet elevated and stay away from salty foods.  But honestly I think if you are going to get pre eclampsia nothing is going to stop it. At least that's how it was for me. Good luck! 😊
