What to say when someone ask, "when are you going to have a baby?"

My SO and I have been together nearly 6 years, been TTC for over 2 years. Idk what to say to people when they ask. :( I feel embarrassed to say how long we've been trying.

Don't feel embarrassed my hubby and I have been trying for 7 years. When people ask me I simply say "were actively trying now. Please pray for us".

Say "whenever the fuck we feel like it, stop asking" people don't realize that it's rude. I was one of them until I finally ot pregnant after a moscartiage so now I respect people more.

Just respond with "when the time is right" or "when it's supposed to happen" and move on to a different subject they don't need to know the specifics

Tell them "well we've been having lots of unprotected sex so whenever his sperm fertilize my egg you'll be the first to know" ;) see how quick they backpedal. It's a sensitive question and i wish people would think before asking.

Now that we're ttc I say, when it happens! But when we weren't I'd say, we definitely will when we are ready to.   :)
