My husband and I live in an apartment complex with our baby and our dog. He is a pretty large dog and one of the "scary" breeds (not a pit bull). He is extremely sweet and has never shown aggression to anyone. Everyone in our complex loves him, except one woman. She's probably about 60 years old and has a small dog. Most of the people in the complex walk around with their dogs off leash and we (used to) let our dog off the leash in the parking lot to play fetch. The lady flipped out on us one day yelling that he needs to be on a leash. She complained to management and so they sent out notices saying everyone needs to keep their dog on a leash. Everyone with dogs here is annoyed about this but it's not a huge deal. What I am bothered by now is that she has walked by our window every single day letting her dog poop on our entry way and leaving it, and now she complained to management saying our dog barks at her through the window and intimidates her. (She complained yesterday and we weren't even home yesterday or today.) So now we have to keep our blinds closed so he can't see outside or bark at anyone. I'm tired of her trying to make things difficult for us. And I am worried that she will get us evicted over nothing if she keeps complaining about nothing or, God forbid, she lies and says my dog attacked her or something. Can I do anything? Like file a report saying she's harassing us?
