No. My entire relationship my husband has never cussed at me or called me names. There's no reason for it and I have always respected him for that.

My husband would never disrespect me like that, not even "as a joke." Neither of our parents ever talk like that to each other either. I can't see an instance in which it would be acceptable.

I don't think it's OK but I think it happens. My husband and I get into arguments and piss each other off and get stressed and snap at each other. And I think there's a big difference between getting frustrated and telling someone they're acting like a bitch and a torrent of verbal abuse.
