Had a c section yesterday morning because of polyhydramnois and large baby. Although he didn't turn out to be quite as large as they thought, his head was pretty large so I'm glad I decided to have a c section. At 38 weeks ultrasound predicted 8lbs 15oz. Yesterday I was 39 weeks and he weighed 8lbs 8oz. His head was 15in and they had to suction him out of the incision and push on my diaphragm really hard to get him to start coming out so I can only imagine what it would have been like vaginally. I had my first vaginally at 40+2 and he weighed 7.5. I had 4th degree tears with him.
