Long drive to the hospital.

I'm a FTM, 37 weeks tomorrow, and I just started to have some anxiety about the fact that our drive to the hospital is over an hour long. I'm hoping to stay home as long as possible to try and avoid as many medical interventions as possible... But that means we'll most likely be traveling when my contractions are on the stronger side and around 6-7min apart. Has anyone had a similar experience? What are some tips to make a long car ride more bearable? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
