So last Saturday I got my maternity photos done, went to get blood taken, and then went to work from about 4:30-12:30 everything was fine. I woke up Sunday morning around 7:30-8 and could tell something was going on with my body just couldn't tell what so I continued throughout the day and realized I was having mild contractions. They didn't start getting bad until about 7 pm and then after that It just kept escalating and getting more intense. We finally went to the hospital around 10:30 and they told me I was 4 cm dilated. By 11:30 I was 5 cm and got my epidural around midnight. The epidural was definitely the greatest thing in the world! I didn't feel a single thing! I was 10cm dilated around 6 am but had to wait for McKenna to move lower down the pelvic bone. About 8:30 or so everyone started getting me ready for delivery and my beautiful baby girl was born at exactly 8:50 am. I only pushed 5-6 times and had 8 stitches. Definitely a beautiful thing, I never imagined the feeling I would have when I looked at my daughter. I'm truly blessed to have been able to experience something like that. 💝
