Me nd my husband decided to give eacher space nd we said a month ..do u all ladys think it was to much or does it not matter as much cuz it dispense on the reason that your giving eacher space in the first place ...my pareants say it to much mostly my dad xo

Personally, I wouldn't take a break from my marriage. If I'm having marital issues, the last thing I want is space.  Sure, maybe space is what you need in a particular situation, but not enough space to move out. I would want to be there and work at our marriage, counseling, long walks to talk, to show him how much I love him, whatever it takes and in my opinion, space doesn't fix anything. Sure you might miss them and realize you want to be with them, but is that fixing the issue for which you left in the first place? It will only come up again in the future. I think when you need space, it's space to think on how to move on. Maybe one isn't thinking that, but the other very well could be. I don't have details on why you needed space, but I would be careful and maybe try calling him and telling him you are coming home to fix things.

I think the idea of having "space" or a "break" in a marriage is stupid and ultimately detrimental to the marriage itself. It's one thing to need some alone time or just some time to cool off, but anything longer than day or two is too much. Get some counseling. I promise you nothing good will come out of this little break you and your husband and having. If there are issues in your marriage, sit down and get to the bottom of it. Don't just throw the towel in because it's the most convenient thing to do. Remember: "for better or worse, through the good and bad times" I hope you guys can work things out, good luck

No matter how long the "break" is regardless not being around each other will do 1 of 2 things, 1: make you guys realise how much you love and miss each other and no longer want to be apart or 2: realise that being in a relationship may not be the best for you guys because you all feel "free" again and don't really think of each other that often throughout the "break".
