Do you think atheists are 'bad'?

I don't mean to offend anyone, I was just wondering as an athiest myself what other people thought.

I think it's extremely hypercritical to say one religion is bad and another isn't, I'm not religious at all but I'd never judge someone based on their religion unless they are shoving their views down my throat! But hey I think atheists may be my favourite, I've never had one knocking on my door at 8am trying to 'convert me' 😂

As a Christian, I think all people are the same level of "bad," and in need of salvation, which means I'm no better than anyone else.

I am Christian. I do not think atheists "are bad". Sure there are atheists with questionable morals, and there are also people who believe Christ died for them but don't try to follow the bible. I think it's a common misconception that all Athiests are lacking morals. Most definitely not true for all (likely most). As someone who does believe in Christ, we are taught to love everyone and not pass judgment - because it's not our place. I believe only one holds the right to judge. With that said, I am human and so of course I "judge" sometimes, but not based on their beliefs...usually only their actions. And even then, I try to remember that it's not my place. So no, I have never and will never think Athiests are "bad".

I'm an atheist and there will always be bad people regardless of their religion. there are bad Christians, bad muslims, bad atheists, bad everything. There are just some people who just straight up suck regardless. There is no 'bad' group of people (minus terrorists, extremists, etc.) it's the individual who is bad. I always hate when someone labels one group of people as 'bad' because they had a bad experience with one. I know in my heart of hearts that not all Christians are bad people but there are some who are bad and those are the ones I don't like. same goes with atheists not all of them are bad but there are some who are. People just suck sometimes.

Not at all. A religion, or lack of, is not what makes a person good or bad.

I just told my family we would not be celebrating Christmas and Easter with our son because we are not Christian, so it dosent make sense for us to celebrate Christian holidays. Growing up our household we were what I'd call "convenience Christians" where we only talked about god when some sort of gift or party was involved. We only went to church on Christmas Eve, and we only said prayer at the dinner table when we had guests. It all felt very fake and morally wrong to me. As I got older I realized the whole premise of what we supposedly "believed" seemed very unlikely, and some of the things in the Bible I strongly disagree with. 
Instead we decided to celebrate on the first day of winter, and on the first day of spring. Just take 2 days each year and make them on a factual event. Just make it a day that's solely about loving your family. Kinda make our own holidays. That way he won't feel like he's missing out in anything. And we don't feel like we're being fake with our kid. Because we love and respect our families we will still be going to their Christmas parties and buying them Christmas gifts. Our son will jut grow up knowing that Grandma and Grandpa believe one thing, so we celebrate that with them. Mommy and Daddy believe another thing so we just celebrate the changing of the seasons and each other. He'll grow up knowing both ways are okay. Knowing that religion is a choice, and not something you have to have in order to celebrate. If he wants to be Christian or any other religion and he decides that by himself when he can fully understand what it means - Thats great. I'm 100% behind it. But it'll be something he chose on his own and I think that's important.
