Not pregnancy related but fur baby related...
So our cat named Hansel was diagnosed with mega colon. It can happen to middle aged males. He is 8 years old. It happens when the body can't dispose fecal matter and the colon is stretched to the max. He is full manecoon and is my first cat love. Well we had the situation taken care of costing us almost 500? The surgery costs 3500$ in which they extract all matter and remove his colon. We can't afford this with the baby on the way. He was put on medicine (was 200$) to help him remain regular but was told that he will never be the same ever again. After a year now his mega colon is back but to the point we can't save him. He throws up his meds, barely keeps food down and can't pooh. When he does its like a stone and he is so much pain. He is starting to lose his fur. He still has the energy of a kitten but I can see that he is miserable. I don't want to see him miserable. Its eating my heart out and my hormones are making it sooooooooooo much worse. Please keep him in your thoughts as we embrace a new life with our son and watch our other baby boy go to heaven.
