Its very rare. My doctor told me that one test usually is enough to know if you're pregnant. I took 3 just to be sure

I took TWO clear blue digitals and got false positives on both. My period even can me at the expected time. Here it is 7 months later and I am not pregnant.

Yours probably wasn't a false pos.. You probably had a chemical pregnancy. A lot of women mistake those for being possible false pos on tests.
It is possible not very common in don't think.. I'm having the same worries

I'm testing again in the morning because mine was faint and out of the time line but I ALWAYS check mine a few hours later and it never ever changes this time it did and I checked it within 30 minutes .. false hope maybe but it's very nerve-wracking
