Should I tell possible employer I'm pregnant?

Hey everyone! So I've been unemployed since October 2015 and I've been searching for a job. I finally got an interview with chase and my question is should I tell them that I'm pregnant? Or (if I get hired) tell them when I start working/closer to my due date? I'm currently 12wks 4days. I have absolutely no baby bump going on. What should I do?

I wouldn't tell them. They aren't likely to want to employ someone who will be leaving again in a matter of weeks and may need extra time off as well. If you get the job tell them a couple of weeks later and say you didn't know...☺☺ good luck x

I would suggest not telling them at least til they officially offer you a job cause even though they're legally not supposed to discriminate about pregnancy a lot do but once they offer you a job they can't take it back because you tell them you're pregnant

I started my new job on 1/8/16. I'm not going to tell them until after my first trimester and just be honest that I didn't want to mention it during the most sensitive time of pregnancy. I feel they should understand it isn't something you need to mention right away. I'm 10w 3days today and am not showing at all and have very little symtoms. I don't think it's anyone's business until you are ready to tell so just wait until you are ready. Good luck!

I am also in your situation  but I told them in the interview because I felt like they needed to know. Hopefully I get the job.

Honestly by law they cannot ask, but if you tell them and it's an issue for them they can find another reason not to hire you legally. At the same time I know that once you get hired there may be a trust issue after you tell them.

It's really up to you. I'm a teacher on the first year of my contract and my job has the right not to hire me back next year. I'm waiting until they tell me if I'm hired or not to tell them that I'm pregnant and I'm 10w3d.

However if they do not hire me I will be showing while I look for work and do not expect to get hired since I need the first two months of my contract year off.

I had an interview with a company before I knew I was pregnant and I won't get a call back until next week. I'm not planning on telling them I'm pregnant until after I start (hopefully)!
