So I just went to my OB/GYN today and got started on Lo Loestrin Fe, but I forgot to ask her some questions while I was there. I know that I I need to wait a minimum of 7 days after taking it (but I plan on waiting a full month) before engaging in unprotected sex, but how safe is it for my partner to ejaculate inside me after I have been on the pill for a month? Would the implantation device be more effective for this? My boyfriend and I have already both been tested and we both are each other's first sexual partners, so we aren't worried about infections or diseases. I have also read that if you begin BC treatments in the first 6 days after the last day of your last period, it will go into effect immediately. Is this true? We have no problems utilizing condoms, withdrawal, or abstinence but I am curious.
