Copper IUD help!

Two days ago I got the copper IUD, insertion was kind of painful but then cramps were OK throughout the day. Then the day after, I was fine, but I did have small amounts of bleeding. However last night, I had the worst cramping pain in my left side (near left ovary) which was horrible and went into my back and down my leg. I went to the bathroom and once I peed the cramps eased off, but there was a small clot and the bleeding has gone heavier to look like a period. This morning the left side pain is still there but not as bad, the bleeding is there but it's now just discomfort. Is this normal or should I worry??
