The nurse called from my OBGYN and stated that my AFP screening came back with elevated levels for my baby having a neural tube defect. She told me not to worry because there is a lot of false positives with this test. I go back Monday to do another blood test and she said if it would come back elevated again I would go see a specialist who would do a higher tech ultrasound. I just had an ultrasound and nothing was said there besides that the baby looked perfect. I go back Friday for my 20 week scan. So worried! Anyone else go through this?
