Blood test??Please help

I took 3 tests last week..all positive..went to my GP and I must go for pregnancy blood test Wednesday. Is this necessary?

I'm in the UK so might be different from you but I went to my GP after a positive test. Didn't need to do a blood test. I got referred to my community midwife and they sorted all the tests needed. GP said the home kits are pretty much 100% so no need to confirm with blood tests.

For my insurance in order to get a referral to an ob I had to take an in office pregnancy test for verification.
