Natural induction by midwife?

Anyone happen to know if a midwife can do anything to naturally induce labor?  Like certain less invasive medications or breaking the water?  I have a week to deliver before I'm transferred to an OB and I'm getting scared that I'll end up induced and in a hospital. Eek. She's already told me she doesn't strip membranes, but does anyone happen to know if there's anything else that can be done?  I have an apt with my midwife on tues to go over all of this, but I'm starting to get stressed (bad, I know) and wanted to know if anyone happened to have any insight, experiences, or just words of encouragement.  I plan on delivering at a birthing center by the way.
TIA.
