Solid smiley on CD9... What is going on??! Please help!!
Hi ladies! Sorry if this post is long, but just wanted to give a little background first... I've used Clearblue Digital OPK for months now, and have NEVER had this happen before! I'm always like clockwork... 28 day cycles on the dot. I always get 2 days of flashing smiley faces (high fertility) prior to getting my solid smiley (peak fertility) on CD14. It's been this way for the better part of a year! Last AF came one day late, and was SUPER heavy with a lot of clotting (sorry TMI!), and stayed that way for a full 5 days. My normal AF is usually very light and lasts 3 days tops. I suspected a chemical pregnancy due to the length & severity of the flow, as well as the fact that I had very pronounced symptoms of pregnancy that I had not experienced in prior cycles. Yesterday (CD8), I started OPK testing again, like I always do on CD8, and wasn't surprised to see the standard blank circle. I DID think it was weird though when I ejected the test cartridge and noticed the lines were a lot more pronounced than they usually are at this point in my testing. Didn't think anything of it though, and went about my day. Well this morning (CD9), I do my OPK again and immediately get a SOLID smiley... WTH??! Again, this has NEVER happened to me before, and I've been using this test for months! How is this possible to be ovulating THIS early?... That's just unheard of for me! That's a full 5 days earlier than when I've always previously gotten a positive OPK, and the fact that I went from blank to solid smiley in one day is literally blowing my mind! In the past, I have always gotten at least 2 days of flashing smiley faces before getting the solid. I have no clue what is going on with my body! I read somewhere that you're more fertile after a chemical pregnancy... is this what they mean by that? But then again, I can't confirm if I even DID have a chemical to begin with! Should I BD anyway just to have my bases covered, or is my body just totally out of whack?! Has this ever happened to any of you ladies before? Any insight anyone could give on the situation would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you for reading, and again, I apologize for this post being so long. I'm just so confused!
