can someone help?

I've asked this probably 3 times now and I've got no response, hopefully if I keep asking someone will have some insight on it...

I have a positive ovulation test yesterday. Im not due for my period for another two weeks, and I started my period this morning. It's not spotting, it's about medium flow but not getting heavier. Anyone have any clue on this? My cycles are VERY regular.. 27-29 days.

The opk picks up estrogen too and your body produces estrogen while you're on your period. I alway got close to positive lines right after AF but then they'd lighten up and become positive about cycle day 16-17. Best of luck!

I wish I could be of some help, I'm not sure why you would get a positive ovuluation test and a period?

This could be ovulation bleeding - you get a burst of the same hormones as you do just before a period which can cause instability in the lining of your womb - and therefore light bleeding for 1-3 days - if this happens regularly mid cycle just as you get an ovulation test positive sounds like thats what it is.
