When to stop BC pill??

My husband and I am planning to start TTC in July/August. When should I stop taking my BC pill? I have been on it for almost 2years.

I'm stopping the month before my husband wanted to try in March I'm coming off in feb

I asked my doctor that question and she said it's different for everyone, but it can take up to a year for some people. Hubby and I aren't going to start to try until the fall but we decided to go off of the pill and just use condoms for now until we're ready.

I was on it for about five years and got pregnant the month after I stopped taking it.  Everyone is different.

My husband and I are exactly in the same position! I'm going to stop after this next refill, so by the end of February my daily bc will be replaced with a prenatal. My doctor said 3 months before. But I want to really make sure that it is out of my system before we ttc.

I would stop now, it took me a while to get a period after getting off birth control.. And with you being on it for two years, it may take some time for your body to readjust. The sooner the better but you can also talk to your doctor as well just to make sure.
