Is it weird to shower/take a bath with your baby? Why? (Explain in comments)

It's a shower/bath, and sometimes the easiest way to get things done...not sure why it would be weird, unless a person has some tendencies that would make it weird, in which case, they shouldn't be around children?!

I still shower with my 4yr old-still saves time lol I'm due in Feb and when that baby comes, we'll all shower together. I think hiding nudity or making it something shameful or too private can give them the impression it's somehow taboo. Nudity itself is not sexual, so unless you're implementing those things it can't be skewed. When my girls are old enough to bathe themselves they will. Until then, they'll shower w me 👍🏼

Nope. We have showered with our sons since they were a few weeks old, and my oldest is 3.5. What would be weird about it? It's the human body. Nudity is completely normal.

I think it's fine until a certain point with both parents and then after that only with the parent of the same gender.

I don't see anything wrong with it, but some people are stupid and see something "sexual" with it, I'll take a bath with my son when he gets bigger. I mean I agree there is a certain age you should stop doing it but not when they are little .

I bathe with my son. He is 6 weeks, we breastfeed during and he is so relaxed. My only concerns is him pooping while we are in there!! Haha

I answered no, but I was never around that so idk. It seems weird but your child has seen you naked, probably ate from your boob (lol), I think a bath is fine. Probably not after 3 though.
