Vbac??

Hi 
I'm wanting to hear from others on their experiences/opinion on a vaginal birth after cesarean. I have been told I'm high risk this time as last my baby was c section due to placenta previa. This time I again have placenta previa but if it moves I have been told I can go for a vbac delivery. The thought of things going wrong makes me sooo anxious I'm leaning towards voluntary c section just because I'm feeling so anxious. Any support / advice welcome x

Your body was made for a vsginal birth. If you can do it (no placenta previa) is say go for it! :)

I’m reading this just now and then noticed this was in 2016... how did things go? My first was also a placenta previa baby which then turned into a full vasa previa (blood vessels draped over cervix) I’ve been told it’s rare to happen again so I’m wondering if you had placenta previa again or did the placenta move? I have my ultrasound in 3 weeks and will find out then about it. I plan to do a vbac but I’ll see how it goes!

I would say get different opinions from different doctors. This is my third pregnancy as well and I had previous c section so this time I am opting for a voluntary c section again as I was told this is the safest lowest risk option for me. I agree that our bodies were made to deliver vaginally but at the end of it all the most important thing is delivering a healthy baby in the safest way possible for mom and baby. I personally was told I had a 2.5% chance of worst case senecio happening during natural children (tear or death) and .5% chance of that with another c section so while the risk was still low I opted for the lowest risk possible
