So I have been on the depo shot since last March? I haven't gained any weight. But I'm deciding to come off of it or not? I'm worried about how long it will take to get my period back and how long it will take to have kids after off of it

I was on depo for over 2 years. It took me almost a year to get my cycle back to normal, but it also took much longer for my period to completely stop while taking depo in the first place, so my body is a little weird. I was concerned about my period being so wacky when I was done taking depo and my doctor said that it can take up to a year for people to get back to normal and for the hormones to completely work their way out of your system. You weren't on it for too long, so it didn't have a ton of time to build up in your system. If you're hoping to get pregnant, I hope your cycle gets back to normal quickly! Good luck!!
