Starting a new job while pregnant?

Ladies! I just found out that my contract at work will be terminated in March. I'm 9 weeks pregnant and I don't know what to do. Has anyone started a new job while pregnant? If so, do you tell them in the interview or wait to get the job? First baby and I'm freaking out... Please help!

This just happened to me. I had applied to a job a while ago and they finally called me! I kept hesitating wether or not to say something when they called with the job offer. Legally you don't have to say anything however, I decided to be upfront so I don't start showing a few months later.  I didn't want to feel like I was starting a new job on the wrong foot. Anyways, they congratulated me for being pregnant and for accepting the job offer! I start next week and I am 10 weeks 5 days pregnant.  I wouldn't mention it during the interview.  Maybe after they offer you the job or after you started.  Decision you have to make.

I'm not telling my new job for a few more weeks. I literally found out I was pregnant the day I quit my old job lol. You gotta do what you gotta do. They legally can't not hire you because you're pregnant. What they don't know won't hurt them.

They legally can't ask you if you are pregnant and you are not obligated to tell them. It is personal medical inforinformation.In fact if they were not to hire you because you're pregnant that is discrimination and you could sue.

I also read a good piece in WHAT TO EXPECT... about ROCKING it at your job before you tell them. Like making a big sale or deal so they give u a ton of praise and know you're an asset. Then be like hey also, I'm gonna need a couple months off in the fall lol

I just recently switched jobs and during the interview process I told them I was pregnant and they didn't seem to mind and I felt better just coming out with it rather than getting the job and telling them afterwards

I have not personally - but I know a woman who got a GREAT job at 6 months pregnant. Confidence and a good resume. You can do it - there are progressive people out there.

I just started a new job December the 14th I was very nervous to tell them during the interview process. But I did go and speak to HR recently to find out the process they have for leave and appointments. When I told her she was just as happy as could be. I still haven't told my manager or team yet, planning on doing so Monday

This happened to me too.  I am 8 weeks and by the time I start this new job I will be 10. I didn't tell them when I was interviewing because I didn't even know I was pregnant yet.  When they called with the offer and I didn't tell either.  I've gone through being treated differently because I was pregnant.  But honestly I prayed about it and I feel confident.  My first day is the 1st of February and I will tell them proudly that I am expecting.  It's a blessing and I'm treating it just like that 😁 good luck and be brave

I'm switching my job position in March after I finish school for my phlebotomy certification but I will still be working at the same hospital I work at now. I will be 4 months pregnant then.
