Travel in 3rd trimester?

Question

My husband wants to travel to see his sister for Presidents' Day wknd- she's 6-7hrs away by car. I said I'm not sure I can or will want to (I will Be 35weeks along) and he says I'm being a b**** and just using it as an excuse to not go visit. Am I in the wrong? To go or not to go?

I think you would be safe to travel, but that foul mouth of his would stop me from going. He sounds like a jerk.

I moved at 37 weeks pregnant once. My midwives didn't like it, but advised that I lie down the whole way. It was a 14 hour drive. As we neared the end of the drive, I started the bloody show, met my midwife when we got here and my water broke the next day. Baby was born just a short while later.
I would ask your Dr or midwife and hope your husband understands there can be quite a risk in traveling that far.

First of all, if my hubby ever said I was being a b****, there would be hell to pay! There are just certain words we never use towards each other and that's one of them.
Secondly, if you don't feel comfy leaving and being so far away from your hospital, then don't go. I pretty much haven't gone further than 2 hours out of town since Christmas. That's only because I really want to be at my hospital and not some random one. 
It's your decision. If he doesn't like it, wah! It's not like you don't want to visit that person, it's just that you aren't okay with traveling for so long while being so far along.

I traveled 9 hrs for Xmas at 28w by car and it was very uncomfortable, plus the need to pee all the time and doc said I needed to walk 10mins every 2 hrs to help prevent blood clots. If it were me I wouldn't go....

35 weeks for myself is sitting on the fence. Every doctor hopes you make it 38  weeks the earliest. Babies and your body have a mind of its own. If it were me I would tell my husband go ahead without me cause I can sure have a baby with out him. On the other hand you can go and make the best of it  whatever helps take your mind of the anticipation or fills in the gaps. Definitely talk with your doctor. 
Some guys are well just thinking like guys. I guess too depending on ur sister in laws age ( has she had children ) Would understand if you wouldn't want to leave.. Being as far as you are. Maybe use a little common sense.

I just traveled from AZ to VA at 31 weeks, it's kinda uncomfortable but definitely do-able! Plus we drove in the "snow-pocalypse" ❄️

I would have to say talk to your doc about it because then if doc thinks it's ok then you could go if you wanted abd you can have your doc tell your husband you can't go if you don't

Circulation isn't as good when u travel. And being 35 weeks is cutting it close. You could have that baby any time, but then again there could be no complications going. I personally wouldnt go
