How far along am I???

So I'm using a couple different apps. According to glow I'm only 3 weeks 4 days, but if you count from the first day of your last period which was December 28 then I feel like the math is 3 weeks 6 days (like one of my other apps is saying). I'm in Japan so today right now it's January 24th. Can anybody help me make sense of this?? Please and thank you (EDD Oct 5, 2016)
