Personally I'll own it cuz I can throw a lot farther then a lot of the boys :p I don't take it as an insult. It just makes them look silly.

I don't like the negativity surrounding the phrase 'like a girl.' I don't like the fact that it is so often used as n insult.

It is not a phrase we use in our house. And my boys have been known to pop off with 'and what's wrong with that?' when that phrase has been used in reference to them.

My SO and I were outside with his 12 year old cousin (male) and they were throwing a football. I asked to play and they laughed. I threw that ball like a fucking champ and caught every throw. They both said they thought I threw like a girl. I was livid.
