Kids?

I dont want kids, but I know my SO does want them or likes the idea of them. I havent sat down with him and had a serious conversation about it but have mentioned the idea of not having them a couple times and he seems to be really quite leniant I guess you could say as I feel like he puts all of my opinions first as he goes mm yeah I guess and similar statements? Its not just with this topic but J really want him to see him as just as important in the relationship as I am. I love him very much and I want him to feel important

Any opinions as to what I should do or just any advice in general?
