If you have twin boys, is it fair to name one after dad?

I wouldn't do that, personally. If I were the twin not named after my parent, I'd feel less loved I think. Maybe use his names for their middle names?

I personally think that's a terrible idea.  Seems like you'll set up the one with the non dad name to have an inferiority complex for life.  And then what if that one struggles with a learning disability or something like that and the other is a genius. You'd possibly never forgive yourself

Why not? My brothers are twins , baby A was named after our dad and baby B was named after my moms brother , who passed away a while ago. There really aren't rules when it comes to baby naming lol it's all up to u! Ur the momma 😊

With my brother and SIL they named one after her side and one after his.

I wouldn't name one a junior. Maybe you could give twin A daddy's first name for a middle name and you could give twin B daddy's middle name for a middle name.

My husband is a twin and he isnthe younger. His brother has his dad's first name- I just always assumed they planned a "jr," doesn't seem to bother either of them. (There is sometimes friendly sparring though about the older being their favorite). 🙂
