Breastfeeding babies

Idk why a woman would not want to cover up while breastfeeding in public. I have a seven week old baby and the thought of breastfeeding him in public without covering up is revolting. Too many sick individuals in this world, what is wrong with covering up when breastfeeding???

Why are you being so judgmental of other women that are simply doing the same as you? Feeding their babies. So you don't want to feed in public uncovered, that's your choice. I personally have no issue with it. A sick person is going to find something to look at whether or not I feed my child uncovered. My choice to feed my baby uncovered is a personal one that I don't need to justify. The law protects my right to do as I please. I really find this post rude. Breastfeeding moms have enough to deal with without other breastfeeding moms passing judgment.

Omg thank you! You're right. Pervs have said disgusting things and leered when I wore pants, boots, a sweatshirt and a winter coat. It has nothing to do with what you're wearing. It has everything to do with that person. It shouldn't even be a factor in feeding my child.

Revolting? I agree- a very unnecessarily extreme word choice😒

Cover up if you want to. Don't judge those of us who don't. They're just breasts. NBD.

Revolting??? Your crazy. It's just a breast, it's not as though your exposing an ass hole, it's a breast FEEDING a baby. You people in western countries shock me how you think.

I think it's a personal choice. And you may find that as baby gets older, it's not as easy to cover. Baby is bigger and heavier, and squirms around and pulls the cover off constantly. Not to say it can't be done, if that's still your choice even with those challenges. But maybe you'll find that you're less judgmental toward the moms that choose not to cover.

No it's not wrong. I cover up. But let me say, men don't find a baby hanging from your teet very sexual.

I cover up in public only because I am not comfortable with people watching but that is my choice and I understand that all women feel differently than I do about breastfeeding their child. You should not be so judgmental. Breastfeeding is entirely natural and in several different countries women do it out in the open with out a second thought. Our society unfortunately puts such a negative stigma on breasts and breastfeeding your child. We are all the same men have nipples as well and they walk around with not shirts on without a problem and some women are sexually attracted to shirtless men yet no one complains about that.

With babies 1,2,3 I had a fear of feeding in public. I couldn't do it in front of my dad when visiting my parents even with a cover up.Babies no.4 and I WANT to succeed at Bfing SO much I don't care. I tend to wear two tops one that stay down over my yuckie belly and one that goes up coving most of my saggy boob. Why should I make my son eat in dark/hidden? I wouldn't eat a meal in those conditionsFor years people have been fighting to breastfeed anywhere. Would you eat your meal on a toilet? I wouldn't. So what if someone can see my boob they shouldn't b looking n if someone makes me feel uncomfortable they gonna find me moaning out loud to whoevers with me

Revolting? You're doing the same thing, feeding your child.  It's a personal choice to cover up or not. Who are you to judge?

Well it's hot we get sweaty it's more complicated to try to keep boons and baby inside the cover it's already hard enough holding a big baby while breastfeeding without a boppy let alone trying to keep him under the cover
