Do you allow people to kiss your kid on the mouth/face?

I just saw another topic similar. I've had people look at me crazy for telling them not to be kissing my child on their face and definitely not the mouth. Especially when their only a couple months old. How do you feel about other people including close family members putting their lips on your (infant) child's face?

I'm ok with family kissing on the cheek or forehead. Not on the mouth. That's weird.

No family member is ever kissing my kid on the mouth EVER. Not even me or my SO would. & depends on who on the face.

No no one needs to be kidding my baby on face or mouth not because it's sexual but because a huge percentage of the population has oral herpes virus and it can be deadly to an infant thankfully neither my husband or I have ever had a cold sore/ fever blister but if either of us had we wouldn't be sharing kisses with him either .

I just don't think that me telling my MiL or my SO's grandma to not kiss him on the lips would go over very well.

Why would there be a problem with it?...as long as they're not sick and it's just family then I'd be fine with it. It's affection. People are so sensitive to everything nowadays🙄

No, I say if you didn't help make the baby/child you don't kiss them. I'll allow close family to kiss on the top of their heads. My mother in law refuses to accept this and drives me crazy trying to kiss my kids

I will! And its family will too.  It's a baby.. It's just effection... Because we love our baby.  It's only weird if people are getting aroused or being weird about it.  I still kiss my mom and my grandma on the lips and I'm 19 . I don't find it weird cause I'm not thinking anything weird of it..  Hmm it's cool to see how some of you girls think...

Seems pretty harmless to me... My family kisses my son on his cheeks all the time. I kiss him all the time. It's affection.
When did that become a bad thing? The day he acts like it bothers him, no one will do it. But as of today, he smiles and giggles when he gets kisses. Why is everything so negative now?
