I am not very familiar with these hcg numbers. I had some blood work done on Saturday afternoon and it was at 565. went in today in the morning and it only went up to 595. I am anywhere between 2-3 weeks pregnant. I did get my period at the beginning of this month. I spotted after for about 14 days. I am no longer spotting but the doctor today told me the the hcg numbers should have doubled by now and is worried that I may be having an ectopic pregnancy. I'm trying to think positive but it's hard when I really do not know anything. they don't want to do an ultrasound cause it is still way "too early." I am having pregnancy symptoms but most definitely no pain at all. can anyone out there please give me a better understanding of these hcg numbers. please.😔 thank you.
