Metformin Success Stories?

Hi just wanting to get feedback if anyone has  taken metformin and had a success story?
Just curious as I am now on 1000mg a day plus folic acid as I have PCOS .

I'm 30 and been trying for a year.

Any feedback or stories welcome 😊 X

I'm currently taking 1000 mg of Metformin since November as well. I have been getting my period every single month since I started taking it. The first one lasted about 2 weeks (insane but I hadn't gotten my period in about 6 months). I still haven't had any luck but I'm hanging in there. Good luck to you!

I'm taking metformin 1500mg and within 12 days of taking it I started my period and the next month I got another period. I also lost 11 pounds and ovulated once, but I'm still not pregnant. Been ttc for almost 2 years now.

Unfortunately found out yesterday from the doctor I have PCOS. She gave me a prescription to start me on 500mg twice a day of Metformin. Saddened and disheartened but want to follow any posts on this. I'm also 30 and TTC #1.

We've been trying for two years. I'm on 1000mg of met. They'll be increasing the dose to 2000mg over time. I'm praying this works. It's our last bit of hope.

I'm on 500mg plus Clomid, last month I did only Clomid and had just one follicle, this time there where 2, I believe it was the Metformin that helped me, GL!

I started taking Metformin in May of 2014 and conceived in October 2014! I believe it worked! I also tried pregnitude that month so I swear by both! I had been ttc for 16 months.
