Birth and big hips

Ok ladies so ive been told recently by other ladies that have had kids that since i have a bigger but and kinda wide hips birth should be a little bit more easier compared to not having hips. Has this been true for some or no?? 😬😊

It has nothing to do with the size of your hips.

My eldest sister has a petite frame and small hips and she has vaginally given birth to 4 babies with very quick labours (3 hours and less). My younger sister has big hips and curvy and she couldn't labour or progress with both her babies and had to have a c section with both. I've got big hipels but had a c section with my first due to medical complications with my heart but hoping for a vbac with my second. It looks promising ☺

Honestly it's not about how wide your hips look. The issue is the actual pelvic outlet size which is quite hard to determine the size of just by looking at someone's hips. Wide hips are often just tissue/musculature, not pelvic bone structure determined. Fooooor example:
