Selling your eggs?!

Question

To ladies who want to sell their eggs.
This is totally fine obviously and your body to do what you want with! 
But does the fact there will be humans our here with your DNA, babies out there that are half yours, not bother you?
I guess it depends how emotional you are etc. But I would see them as my babies.
Kudos to you if you can do it, I'm sure you are helping so many people who can't have their own biological children, but I know I'm not the kind of person who could give my eggs away and not think about them forever.
How did it work for you/how do you think you can do it.

I checked into this recently and I am, unfortunately, too old.

But it would take more than DNA for me to feel an attachment to them. If I didn't carry them, give birth to them, and nurse them (though obviously that isn't a requirement), they are not mine. And I can't imagine it would bother me at all.

I think it would be cool to do it and then meet one of them years later though. That would be interesting.

I don't see any issue with losing another egg. They aren't my babys they're just unfertilized shells that are going to be thrown in the garden soil every month anyway. 
If you meet up with the strict criteria for donating eggs/need the money/can put up with the emotional rampages, I say go for it.

I would love to do it. I could never do surrogacy because I would be heartbroken after, but just donating eggs I could do no problem. Sure I would think about them, but it would be less heartbreaking than fostering puppies like I do. Because I would know they're making someone's dream come true, and I would never have felt or met them. We pass eggs every period, at least this way they would be fulfilling their purpose ;)

I'm not emotionally attached to any potential human that I could create. They're free and to anyone that wants them. A fetus to me is just that, a fetus. And egg to me is just that, an egg.

I went through the process and was denied in the genetic testing portion.

I'll tell you one thing it's not hard giving up and egg, but it is hard getting selected by a family, going through the whole process, and then finding out you have to start all over again. I was so sad for my family I felt heart broken like I had failed them.

It was hard for us too because we were going to use the donation money to pay for our birth expenses.

I'll be trying again at another clinic after I give birth. We're hoping having one healthy pregnancy under my belt will outweigh the fact I'm a carrier for cystic fibrosis.

I see no down side to donation it's such a win win. I'm throwing eggs away every month why not put them to good use.

I couldn't do it. Just knowing a baby that could have been yours is out there somewhere. To me it's the same as adoption. I wouldn't be able to deal with the emotions.

I'll be donating soon:). I don't want kids of my own, but I do want to get my gorgeous genes out there😂. I don't know maybe I'd look into staying in touch with the family, but I don't think about it much. I'd be worried my eggs ending up with someone that... Well I'd hate for them to end up with a spiteful couple, but I'd still be down with not knowing them.

I mean, I'm honestly just thinking of adopting a child so my eggs are pretty much going to go to waste anyways.

As far as I know I might not even qualify as a donor. But I have 0 attachment to my eggs, or the idea of having a biological child.
