Is It Wrong of Me?

Is it wrong of me if I find my husband to be really annoying? I mean, our SO's all have their moments, but my husband is over the top immature and ridiculous. I can't even go to the bathroom without him calling my name or needing me. We can't have a conversation without him looking or wanting to play with my boobs. Seriously. He was NEVER this bad until we got married. He's obsessed with Family Guy, The Simpson's and South Park and he quotes them constantly. Then, I have a sound sensitivity disorder and people smacking when they chew sets it off. He thinks it's funny to chew his food really grossly so that it ticks my hearing disorder. It's not funny at all. It makes me feel like he thinks my hearing disorder is a joke. It's getting really old and even his parents told him to knock if off, but he doesn't care. He's 22 and even his 17 year old brother is more mature than him. Am I being too harsh? Am I just being bitchy about this, or am I justified?

There is nothing mature about a 22 year man. In fact, even when they're in their late thirties they are still immature (sorry guys).

It sounds like he is just being playful with you and not at all intentionally hurting your feelings or annoying you in malicious manner. My hubby and I are very playful with each other and tease and/or annoy each other on a daily basis. Sometimes we even get mad because one of us annoys the other too much. It really isn't that big of a deal. But if it truly bothers you than have a serious talk with him about it.

Do you have misophonia? I do.  If my SO did the smacking thing, on purpose I would consider it abusive.  I would leave him even if he did it accidentally because it is intolerable to me and completely unnecessary.

Sounds to me like he's just being himself. You guys are married now so your gonna half to learn to love his flaws. There's really not much you can do, but if he's in your personal space like in the bathroom then you have the right to tell him to stop.  My husband is like that a lot to but that's why we get along cause I feel like I'm just as annoying lol and I like how he is

Look him in the eye and say you are crossing a boundary. I love you and SO I have to tell you this makes me want to not be around you. I have the chewing problem too and I honestly have had to yell a few times to get certain people to stop intensifying their chewing - all boys - I don't think it's so much so abuse but it is if you explain to him and he continues.

Wow I guess "till death do us apart" doesn't mean shit to some of these women on this app. He's just annoying, he isn't physically hurting her in any way. 
 
I wouldn't listen to the people telling you to leave him. That's overreacting and taking things wayyy out of hand. Just tell him how angry it makes you feel when he does the things that he does.

My so is soo immature and he's in his 30s, I can't go to the loo either. I have a few illnesses he didn't have a clue about, and thought I'd made them up because he hadn't heard of them and didn't know anything about them. it got to the breaking point where I cried everyday and i couldn't be around him without him joking (i can see that now but at the time I felt like he did it to annoy and upset me). I wrote down what the problem was and how it made me feel when he 'joked', along with research and statements about my illnesses, I told him we needed to talk and that if he didn't come in with a serious head he doesn't come at all. I gave him what I'd written and made him read all of it (he cried) we sat and read through the research together and he started to understand why it was upsetting me and why it needed to stop, I didn't shout, I didn't cry, we just talked. That was 3 years ago and he now knows what sets me off and how to avoid it, he's still immature but he knows and understands, you need to talk to him and show him to make him understand.

This sounds like my brother with his ex! Because he's acting like a bit of a puppy, you need to let the puppy know boundaries. Be stern with him and give him no room to move, then as he gets better you can get less stern. Kicking the puppy without booting it over the fence :)

I can't stand when people chew and my husband sometimes does it on purpose just to aggravate me. I tell him if keeps doing it I will stab him lol. He usually stops after I give him the death glare. Sometimes if he keeps doing it I just get up and leave. Tell him that when he does it that it really gets to you and you want to stab him and punch him in the face everytime and have a straight face and when he laughs just keep staring at him and that will hopefully scare him to never do it again lol
