What to wear home from hospital after delivery

Question

Sounds like a silly question but I have been mulling over on what to pack as a home outfit. Any suggestions? It's been almost nine years since I had my little girl and I can't recall what I wore then. I didn't use maternity pants because I was able to fit into my jeans the whole time. Plus maternity pants kept falling off of me. I thought about sweatpants but was wondering if that big bulky pad would sound and feel like a diaper since sweatpants are loose fitting. I certainly don't want to wear my leggings. No need to outline the feminine hygiene product. Lol. Like I said probably an absurd question but I really feel lost on what would be the best most functional pants since maternity clothes are not an option. 😕

Okay, this might sound cray cray, but at Walmart they sell old lady nightgowns that zip all the way up the front for like ten bucks. I bought one and loved it sooooo much! It was great for skin to skin and breast feeding! Except I got blood all over it. I happened to have a c section and was in the hospital for four days and so my mom went and bought me another one. They're not gorgeous but they're glorious! If you want to feel a little more dressed when walking around, take a robe to throw over the top. . As for coming home, I actually loved my stretchy big pants and wanted to do my makeup. But maybe that was because of being there four days. Congrats mama! Enjoy every minute of this painful time! LOL! It's weird how you'll miss it! Next time, I'm taking four of those nightgowns!

Something comfy, u will be quite sore still and probably bleed through it anyways. They give u thick pads but sometimes it's still not enough.
