How to keep breast milk frozen during my flight?

Hi ladies,
Next week I'm traveling outside USA with my husband and 6 months old baby. I've never travel with a baby before since he's my first. I am wondering if I can bring some frozen milk with me as a backup. How can I pack this up? Can I bring it on my carry on?  How much is allowed to bring on the plane)
If anyone has experiences with this please let me know.

I flew with my baby when she was 8 weeks. I flew on United and brought my frozen milk in my carry on. Google TSA guidelines for traveling with infant. It says breastmilk is not subjected to the 3 oz maximum, you can bring as much as you want. Just tell the TSA people you have breastmilk in your carry on. I had mine packed in an insulated cooler bag (the brand of the bag is called PackIt - it's awesome!) and a lot of it stayed frozen until I got to my hotel. My flight was only 3 hours though.

I would call the airline and see what they reccommend you do. I want to say I've read somewhere that you can use dry ice however I can't remember for sure.

I brought unfrozen milk, think I had 4 bottles with me.  Is there a reason it needs to be frozen?
