Too skinny, too fat, why can't we look at a woman and find something to celebrate rather than setting out to put all women down?

You cannot generally look at someone and tell if they are obese.

Obese is not interchangeable with overweight. And it doesn't mean 'heavier than I would like.'

So being a plus size model DOES NOT MEAN that person is obese.

I think her face is very pretty. I don't think being her size is especially healthy long term. But I also think that's between her and her dr. I think it's important that we break down typical stereotypes of beauty. I think this just walks a line for me by promoting what is medically termed as morbidly obese. No one should strive to be morbidly obese.

You know what? I have a friend who is morbidly obese and she is always going to the gym trying to make things work while being a single mom of 4. She is so confident in her body. Please don't dis people for accepting themselves. Let's be honest. Nobody says 'I want to be plus size.' Most people would like to lose at least a few. But its not fair to anyone to say its wrong to be confident in the person you are today

It's not ment to glorify health it's to both be realistic and help self esteem. The bottom line is that many people are plus size and need support to feel pretty regardless of what they look like. We might be a hyper sexual species but we are of high enough intelligence to not verbalize the judgment of others like sex objects.

I'm for all for body posivity whether that be skinny or on the larger side. But people who are over weight/too skinny and don't eat healthy and don't excersize but show off how "good" it is annoys me. You don't have to be super skinny or over weight to be classed as healthy or not. It's how you eat and if you do some kind of excersize. I don't like when people say it's okay to be either and eat what you want regarding unhealthy food. I'm not super skinny but I'm not even close to chubby. I can eat very  unhealthy and still stay this size. But my health would not be good at all.

Here is the truth..... Being overweight is not healthy. If you are overweight don't hate yourself for it. Love yourself bc being fit or fat shouldn't make you shitty or good person its who you are not what you are (fat).

No I don't think plus sized people should receive holidays but should recieve education on the importance of promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Think about it .. If everyone were fit and healthy who would celebrate being unhealthy??

And before ANYONE says " Well some people can't lose weight due to medical reasons" Im not talking about them. Im talking about the people who are plus sized that secretly want to be slimmer but are either too lazy or uneducated about the process of weight loss.
