What's wrong with me?

Me and my huband have been together for over 8 years now and we haven't have a kid or had a surprise. He has a daughter so of course I think there is something wrong with me. I went to the clinic for a female physical and they said everything was fine. What do I do?

If you didn't get pregnant by now probably not everything is ok. Go to your ob gyn and explain that it's been 8 years and you are not pregnant yet . Then if she/he doesn't run any tests or does not recommend a specialist change the doctor . Don't waste more time

Have you been actively trying those entire 8 years? As in knowing around when you ovulate and him ejaculating in you at least every other day during the week or two that you assume you might ovulate. Have you ever tracked ovulation with bbt and/or opk's? As for him, a lot can change in the time since he had that prior kid. He could have put on too much weight, or picked up smoking, or too much caffeine, or too much heat, or whatever else could be proven to reduce efficiency. Or maybe he got her pregnant on a random fluke and he actually does have other, naturally occurring, sperm issues going on. If you want answers, get him to do a semen analysis (they're around $100 or so without insurance), and if things come back fine on his end, you can move on to seeing a fertility specialist. Or if you've just been seeing a GP, move on to at least seeing a gynecologist.
