A bottle a day
I want to start giving daddy more opportunities to feed my LO. I exclusively Breast feed on demand day and night. I have a freezer stash and I want to start using some of the 'older milk' and replacing with newer milk (he's 2 months old). I really don't need to use the stash otherwise BC im home but want to keep it a little more current (if that makes sense). When I pump I get about 5-6 ounces and I currently only pump once a day.
My plan is to start using some stash in order to have a bottle for daddy at night (this also gives baby bottle practice ---currently on bottle type number 4, MAM with pretty decent success) and to like I said, replace the old with newer milk bc eventually I will return to work and I would prefer his milk to be as "new" as possible. I guess my question is: if as long as I pump while baby gets bottle...will that keep my supply as is?? I don't want the bottle to replace me or tell my body I don't 'need that feed'. Any input is great! (Sorry for the rambling lol)
