Babies and chihuahuas

I have two chihuahuas that are my fur babies and I'm 15 weeks pregnant. I love small dogs and have always had chihuahuas. Over the past couple of years, through videos or reading things about the breed, they've mentioned that chihuahuas aren't a breed that go well with small children. Now that I'm pregnant I'm starting to think about that. Does anyone have small dogs and babies/children? Chihuahuas in particular. How did your dogs do with a new baby in the house? I want to be prepared and would love advice.
