Placenta insufficiency
So had my anatomy scan back in November and it showed a week difference in my due date so instead of April 7th she was measuring more towards April 14th. Well I had this doctor at the time who I didn't like. You could tell she is burned out. Anyways she didn't want to do another ultrasound and said she wanted to stick with the 7th. I wasn't satisfied with this answer plus I didn't like her so I switched doctors. After reviewing my records he decided he wanted to have another ultrasound to determine whether or not to switch my due date to the 14th. So I had my ultrasound yesterday morning and the tech was asking me about my first daughter. How much she weighed and was she full term. So I asked her is she was measuring for the 14th and she said actually she is measuring for the 19th. So after the ultrasound I saw my doctor and he said due to the inconsistent measurements he isn't going to change the due date however she is very small which could be from two things, either she is a small baby due to genetics or my placenta is not giving her enough nutrients. I have another ultrasound in two weeks. My first daughter was 6lbs 11oz and born on time. The only complication was pre eclampsia at 38 weeks but everything went smoothly with her delivery and I went into labor on my own at 40 weeks. Anyways has anyone ever had placenta insufficiency?
