Paragard IUD, Missed Periods, Etc.

So I've not had a period for 2 months now.

I had Paragard inserted in April of 2015 and have been regular since, until these last two months.

My husband and I cannot have sex comfortably, so to accommodate him for now, we use hand jobs and he ejaculates down my butt, so there's definitely sperm in the vicinity of my vaginal opening.

I had some brown discharge today, very little, but that's mainly it since last normal period in November.

I checked to see if Paragard was still in place, and last time I checked I had to drag very far, but this time I was laying in the tub and could feel it within an inch of reaching into my vaginal opening. I'm not sure how far the strings are supposed to come down, so that worries me too.

I took a home pregnancy test and it was negative, but I've heard they can be incorrect.

With all of this, I am in my last semester of college, newly married, and am NOT ready for a baby.

Any advice?

Update - Last night I had some brown spotting and today I'm bleeding, but I'm not sure if it's a period still.
